
Living in limbo during the divorce process is very stressful and feels like living on a roller coaster, especially if it is a contentious divorce. A good attorney can help guide you through the process; however, they can help you with the emotional part of ending a marriage and learning how to co-parent children with someone who may have hurt you badly. Some tips for self-care during the divorce process are:
- Find a good counselor to get therapy.
- Exercise
- Find a good support group.
- Don’t date until one year after the divorce Decree is signed.
- Focus on your actions and not on your future ex-spouse’s actions.
